Our Metrics

Merlin computes proprietary metrics to help users evaluate trader quality. These include the Merlin Trader Score (0-100 composite), ROI Rating (S/A/B/C/D), Insider Score (0-100), and Whale Tiers (Whale/Shark/Dolphin/Fish). See our Methodology page for detailed formulas.

Data Sources

All data comes from Polymarket's public API (data-api.polymarket.com) and the Gamma API for market data. We fetch on-chain trade activity, positions, and leaderboard rankings. No proprietary data is fabricated — everything is derived from publicly verifiable Polygon blockchain data.
